Cash4umarketing endeavours to bring you up to date news, articles and marketing information to keep you on track. Search Engine Ranking getting started

For a better search engine ranking of your website there are various things that you can do, here are some ideas to get you started.

Once your site is up and running you should apply to have it listed with all the search engines that you can find. You should then be looking to build up lots of links into your site. Link with other sites that are relevant to your business, you can do this by simply finding other sites and e-mail the owner asking to set up a reciprocal link. Also search for directories related to your business and advertise there.

You should be providing information on your site that people will want to link with. Getting others to link to your site is a great way of improving your search engine rankings. Everyone knows enough about something to be able to put together some quality content. Keep it relevant to your business and it is best to give useful information not just more sales pitch.

Think about what your customers want or need in the way of information, what questions are you frequently asked by your customers? You now have a starting point for your information content.

Generating More Traffic

The easiest way to make more affiliate profits is to simply generate more traffic.

I generally use pay-per-click traffic for almost all the affiliate products I promote simply because you can control exactly how much money is going out- and once you figure out how many visitors it takes to make a sale with whatever you are promoting, then you will know exactly how much money will come in.

PPC advertising just makes affiliate marketing easier if you ask me!

First off, pay per click (PPC) does NOT mean Google Adwords. Adwords is just the most popular form of PPC advertising, but it is definitely not the only one. On that note, PPC search engine advertising is also not the only form of PPC.

You can pay per click on a variety of different advertising vehicles including banner ads, text ads, flash ads, email ads, etc.. So don't limit yourself to just Google Adwords, or just search engines.

If you want to find more sources where you can pay per click, just go to Google.com and search for "pay per click advertising".

Before you do any PPC advertising (or any advertising for that matter), you need a good tracking system to track your results. If you are doing search engine PPC, you need to know which keywords are producing sales and which aren't. This will help fine tune your marketing system.

So what works in PPC advertising? Well, the truth is, 90% of the money you make from PPC ads will come from 10% of your keywords- The same keywords that produce results for you in the organic search most of the time. learn more at.. http://www.moneymakingbusinessonline.net/Online-Training.html

Marketing Coach

A great way to get started with Internet marketing is to use a coach or a mentor. This will make a huge difference to your progress and not only in how much progress you make, but how fast you make it, A coach or mentor can prevent you making the mistakes as they have made them all before you and they know how to steer you in the right direction.

You will want to get your business up and running and of course profitable as soon as possible. Having a coach or mentor who will take you through each step will boost your self belief and help you reach your goals.

There are plenty of people and programs out there all telling you that they have a faster or easier way for you to make money, sticking with one person will bring you the results you want much faster.

Joining a mentor will shorten dramatically the learning process involved in Internet marketing.

If you want to be successful and make money online, you must be ready for a lot of hard work. But if you stick with it and with the right teacher you can become very successful at making money online and you could make this your main source of income.

The one thing you really need more than anything in the beginning is a clear set of directions to follow from someone who started from scratch just like you, and managed to find a legitimate way to full-time online income.

Products to sell - produce your own

Non-physical products:
This covers a wide area of products or services but generally speaking we are interested in downloadable products here. Ebooks; or information books are by far the most suitable products to sell online, they are available immediately to the customer in most cases and can be sold through fully automated systems.
Whatever business you are in you should consider selling information products online and they are not difficult to find or create. I would recommend you do a search on "Google" or another search engine for "ebooks with resale rights" and you will be surprised just how many people are selling or even giving away ebooks for you to sell on.
Software:
You can also often find software packages for sale or free that offer re-sale rights, but this will depend on availability in your chosen "niche".
The more specialised your chosen niche the better your chances of success as there will be less competition. You also need to make sure that the chosen niche has enough interest.
Writing your own ebook:
Some people are put off by the thought of having to write their own ebook, you may think it is not something you can do but actually it is not difficult at all. If you have knowledge of a subject then you can write your own ebook. Everyone knows about a subject be it a hobby or what you do for a living, and this should be your first choice of subject to write about.
Often the easiest way to get started is to simply start writing and the words will begin to flow naturally.
If you really can't face doing it yourself though there are alternatives, You may have a relative or friend who enjoys writing and for most people you just need to offer them the incentive of earning a little extra money. There are also websites to be found that are full of people who will write for you for a fee, try Elance or Article Equaliser. When producing your own ebooks you can write them using Microsoft word or similar and then you will need to purchase a pdf writer to save your work and produce the ebook.

Affiliate Marketing

With many people’s finances getting ever tighter these days, the idea of making money online is becoming more attractive, one method is something called “affiliate marketing” Affiliate marketing is quite simply advertising other peoples products or services for sale.

Research the Market.

You should research the markets you are interested in. This is a very important first step. Start by finding out what your potential customers are looking for. This can be achieved through “keyword research” – finding the actual words or phrases people type into search engines to find answers to their problems.

Once you have found the keywords that consumers are actively entering into the search engines for your chosen subject you will be able to help your website rank higher.

Keyword research is not difficult. Start with the free Google Keyword Tool, which can be found by searching for “Google keyword tool external,” and enter in a keyword or phrase that identifies the product or niche that you are interested in promoting as an affiliate.

Click on “get keyword ideas” to produce a list of keywords. you can now see the competitiveness of your chosen subject or niche by taking a look at the number of times people are searching for your main keywords each month.

you should look for a niche with high demand that already has some competition and products for sale, but not too competitive that ranking highly is going to be impossible.

Of course it is important that there is an audience for whatever you choose as your niche. Since we are considering affiliate marketing, your costs for entering the chosen niche are not too high. It is a good idea to take the time to do niche research in order to ensure success. Once you have an idea of the products you would like to promote you will need to search for affiliate products. There are many websites that list affiliate products that you can promote on your own website or blog. It is also worth considering advertising offline, for example in newspapers or magazines.

Getting high ranking results in search engines

What do you need to do to get high-ranking results in search engines?
If you are trying to get high rankings on Google and other search engines, you need do the right things to be successful. You will need to work on several factors to make sure that your website out performs your competitors website.

Is your site going to make sense to search engines?
A good site layout will show search engines that your website is not just a random collection of pages.
Try linking your pages together in a logical order, this will help to show search engines which pages of your website are related to each other. The search engines should be able easily identify which groups of web pages on your site are related to a certain topic.

Are your web pages easily accessible?
If search engines cannot read your web pages then they will ignore your site and they will not give your site good rankings. Of course search engines need to be able to access your web pages. Follow these points and check that your site is operating correctly.
.
· Be sure your web server does not return an error code when search engine spiders visit your web pages. If your server returns an error code, search engines will not index your site.
· The content of your web pages must make sense to search the engines and be easily understood. Avoid using images or Flash to present the main content of your web pages.
· You also need to check the HTML code of your web pages. While most HTML errors may not cause problems with search engines, some of them can prevent search engines from indexing your site. The less HTML errors your web pages have, the better.
· Your robot.txt file must allow search engines to index your web pages. The Robot Exclusion Standard, also known as the Robots Exclusion Protocol or robots.txt protocol, is a convention to prevent cooperating web spiders and other web robots from accessing all or part of a website which is otherwise publicly viewable. If you accidentally blocked all bots or all directories of your website (this can happen with a simply error in the robots.txt file), search engines won't list your website.
Have you created back links to your site?
It is very important that you have good back links to your site, without them it is not likely you will get high rankings on major search engines. Links that point to your website will have a major impact on the position of your web pages in Google's search results. Try to get as many links as possible from related web sites. The more targeted the link, the more it will help your search engine rankings.

How good is your websites content?
Web sites that mainly offer advertising, affiliate links and articles can be found on many other web sites and so will have a hard time getting good search engine rankings. You should concentrate on creating unique and trustworthy content that helps your web site to stand out from all the others.
If you are an expert in a particular field you should write as much as possible about that subject. This will make sure that your web site becomes the best resource for that topic. Writing about things you are passionate about will come easier than trying to write on a subject you know little about. If you find yourself struggling to write good content you may wish to consider outsourcing.
How relevant are your keywords?
Choosing the right keywords is an important step in determining whether your SEO campaign will be a success or not.
It's best to focus on longer keywords for search engine optimisation. “long tail” keywords have been proven to be more likely to convert into sales. Whereas one word keywords are much less likely to convert to a sale and they are also much more competitive.

Is Email Autoresponder A Must Have Marketing Tool?

Why is Email Autoresponder a must have marketing tool?

Studies show a potential visitor will take seven to nine messages before he or she becomes comfortable with you and eventually contacts or preferably buys your products or services.

If you are left with only one marketing tool, what would you retain? Most marketers would say autoresponders or their email list. This tells you how serious you should treat your email marketing effort AND your autoresponder tool.

What is an autoresponder?

An email autoresponder allows you to follow up your potential customers at a predefined timeframe automatically through emails. You may acquire this functionality by installing a script on your webhosting or you can acquire this function through third party autoresponder service providers.

What criteria should you consider when it comes to picking an email autoResponder? What is the single most important criteria when choosing your autoresponder service?

Three criteria you should consider before you invest your hard-earned cash in this vital marketing tool.

1) Deliverability

A great deliverability is the most sought-after feature of any email autoresponder. Any internet user would receive tons of SPAM mails in their mail-box each day.

There are 2808 spam emails in my email account as at the time of writing. I will never read these emails.

If you use some poor autoresponder service, your emails will automatically be streamed into these SPAM folders.

You may ask, "What determines which email go to "SPAM"?"

Unless you are your email service provider, you don't know their "way of thinking". But definitely you don't want to be the one who emails your subscribers to their SPAM folder!

2) Self hosted OR third party professional autoresponder service

Every marketer or business person has a mission - to lower his/ her cost of doing business. No one throws money out of the window. I don't easily invest in any recurring marketing tool, except for the really required. When it comes to email autoresponder service, I recommend using a third party tool - a tool that is not hosted on your webhost. The mission of third party autoresponder service providers is to deliver your emails.

Why do I not recommend a self-hosted script which you can install onto your webhost?

The reason is one word: "SPAM". Some of your subscribers will report you as SPAM, no matter how diligent and sincere you are with your email marketing campaigns. People just forgot they had signed up on your mail box and they will report your emails as spamming one day down the road.

When subscribers report your emails as spams, their internet service provider (ISP) may blacklist your future emails. This blocks your emails getting into their inbox in the future.

I have previously used a hosted service, which had good results initially (for about 6 months). After a few of my ex-subscribers complaint me spamming them, my emails are not as effective as before.

Great email autoresponders service companies eat and breath on deliverability. They ensure your emails get delivered. Some autoresponder service us claiming that it delivers 99.34%, meaning it their readers get 99 emails out of 100 emails!

3) Price

There are some free autoresponder services out there. I urge you not to waste your time finding or even trying one. Why? I have used those services and only found myself promoting someone's else services.

Those free services basically send out your emails with their own embedded advertising. Your readers will read their ads first before your messages. If you are not serious about your business, use free autoresponsers.

Price should be the least concern, as autoresponder is your lifeblood of your viral traffic. Usually a quality autoresponder costs around $20 a month.

In conclusion, when you choose your autoresponder, the following is a list of criteria that you should consider before spending money on email autoresponder.

Taking the first step to being your own boss

It is a big decision to make, going out on your own and working for yourself.

It does not have to be a difficult one though if you plan ahead and have a clear idea of what you want to achieve. Start off with an idea and gradually build on it, test the water by researching your chosen subject. Online businesses are very easy to set up and do not have to be expensive, plus you can do most of your pre-planning and research for free. Using search engines such as Google can quickly show how popular and how competitive your chosen business idea is, do not be put off by competition if your subject is very popular there are bound to be lots of others already in the field. Offering something slightly different or of better quality/service can give you an edge over the competition. Also learning good marketing strategies before you launch your business will help you better your competition.

Be prepared to put in the work, unless you have a large budget to get you started you are going to have to do a lot of the setting up yourself. Think about how you can market your business in the most cost effective way, you will probably need to hire some outside help for some of the tasks.

Starting up your online business such as getting your first website up and running is really easy these days with so many packages to choose from that do most of the work for you, again it all depends on your budget but remember the most expensive is often not the best. Some businesses spend fortunes on fancy websites with moving images and graphics that look great, but very often they just end up confusing or annoying the visitor. A simple black text on white background web page is much easier on the eye, think about if you read a book or any written text is it easier to read black on white or other colours? What if the pages of the book you are reading started flashing images at you, how easy is it to take in the information?

Some images and gimmicks can of course attract your customers attention and enhance the overall look and appeal of your website but don't over do it. It is good practice to test your ideas, show them to friends and colleagues for some feedback before going ahead with them.

To summarise then lets look at a simple list of tasks,

· Write a business plan

· Decide on a budget for your venture

· Research your chosen subject

· Test your ideas

· Start building the business

· Outsource some tasks

Your business plan does not need to be complex nor set in stone, you can always add to it and adapt it as you get going.

It is a good idea to set yourself a budget of at least 10% above your estimates to give yourself a cushion for the unexpected.

Research is the key, you must be sure there is a market for your product or service. How popular is your subject online?

Test everything out if you can before committing yourself to a task. Most things can be changed quite easily such as website design or layout, try several and see what people think works best for your business.

Once you have a clear focus on what you want to do, start building your business. Your website, products or service, emails, marketing and stock if you have any should all be in place.

The jobs you can't do, don't know how to do or just don't want to do should be outsourced. The more you can do yourself the more control you will have over the business, so learn as much as you can. Some tasks like building a website if you have zero experience may seem impossible right now but with a little effort you may surprise yourself. A lot of tasks like building your own site are much easier these days with lots of companies offering great learn as you go packages.

Tips and tricks, the marketing systems

Hi again, here we are heading towards the cold weather, a good excuse to spend some time in the comfort of the office (office at home in my case) and get some marketing done.

As always I am spending some time building back links to my various sites, this is an essential way of getting your site recognised. If you have your website up and running but are not getting the traffic then make sure you have a links page set up and start filling it. The page does not need to be any more than a list of other relevant sites but some may want you to include a clickable picture or banner. You should always check that the site you are linking to has set up a link back to yours otherwise you will not gain any real benefit as far as the search engines are concerned. If you are new to this and don't know were to start here is what I recommend, first do a search on Google or any other search engine for sites in the same subject as your own (it is important for the links to be relevant to your sites content). Then with this list start contacting the owners and requesting a link exchange (aways be polite, please and thank you goes a long way).
You may find that sites run by manufacturers and the like are not able to link back to you for various reasons but you may still search their links pages to find other related sites.
I suggest writing a standard email message and save it then you just need to collect all the email addresses from the sites you visit. Do not expect to get replies to all your messages some will no doubt get labled as spam and not make it, others may just be disregarded. Keep at it and soon you will have a growing list of sites linking into yours, then the next time the search engines crawl your site they will see it's relevance in your niche and this should help with your ranking.

Website updates

September nearly over already! wow time goes so fast, I have been very busy updating the website and working on increasing that all important traffic,  I have been using this free.cool-traffic programme and
The list machine to build up my customer base and highly recommend you give them a try.

List building is probably the most important part of any online business, without the customers to sell to you just don't have a business. You can always use ppc (pay per click) and i have recently found a great alternative to Google at a fraction of the price, I will publish a link later or email me now if you just can't wait gbgbmail21@googlemail.com ..

As time goes by with developing more ways of generating an online presence the amount of work builds, may be time to start outsourcing some of your article writing or social media interaction. If you have family  members you can get involved that can take some of the load, all the better, otherwise you will need to start looking for an online company to help you out. There are many out there who can write articles for you and plenty of add ons for the social media sites like facebook and twitter. I don't recommend any over the others so you will just have to make up your own mind on that one. More ramblings and useful stuff to come soon, keep on marketing!!

If you are looking for website building solutions you may also try this software, Xsite Pro offer great value and it is easy to use coming with step by step video tuition.

Traffic building plan

So you have your website up and running or your affiliate products ready to sell. The next step is to start getting good targeted traffic to view your products and hopefully buy them. How do you get this traffic? well there are several ways.
  • Run an advertising campaign using google adwords or similar (pay per click)
  • Publish articles to ezine articles and others based around your products
  • Join Traffic generating programmes such as Traffic Swarm
  • Make videos to promote on Youtube etc.
These are the top 4 methods but are by no means the only ways of generating traffic. Pay per click should see you get instant results but will of course cost you, the other methods may be free. I have published several articles on these methods already, some here and others on my website. If you would like to know more about generating traffic check out my money making making business online.

I have recently joined Traffic Swarm myself and can recommend them as a good free traffic generating system.

If you have not yet done so I would also recommend signing up with Aweber to create your own capture page for your potential customers and promote to them with automated emails.

Finally I recommend XsitePro who have fantastic, easy to follow website building software especially designed for online marketers.

Using Videos to Skyrocket Affiliate Sales!

- Using Videos to Skyrocket Affiliate Sales!
Videos have come a long way online and are now starting to show up in just about every promotion you see, and for good reason, they produce big sales!

You can certainly use them to promote your affiliate products or your own with great success.

Above is a short video I made while walking the dog back in February it gives the viewer one of the most compelling reasons for being self employed and working from home, life is good.

You do not have to video yourself to get the message across.
Here is another idea that I have been testing with great results. It is creating a video of the actual members area or the product itself.

By video I mean a screen capture video using a program like www.camtasia.com. Camtasia is only one screen capture program out there so do some research to see which would be best for you. There are others much cheaper with less features.

Also, when it comes to video editing, make sure you check your own computer to see if you already have some video editing software installed. A lot of computers come with video editing software now for home movies and such. You can use this exact same software to edit your screen capture marketing videos.

Once you get some screen capture software you create a "Here is what you can have in minutes" style of video. You call it a "tour of our product".
You then add this video to your affiliate product promotion and boom, increase sales!

It is very simple to do and hasn't failed yet to work for me!

Here is how you can do this:

Step 1) Start up the screen cam software, and welcome the viewer to the product tour video.

This can be a simple greeting where you introduce yourself as a user of the product and give a quick introduction to what will be in the actual video.

Step 2) Login to your members area where the product will be downloaded. Or, if the product is an actual downloadable file like a .PDF report/ebook, you can just open the file.

Step 3) If there is a download page, it is a good idea to show the download page, discuss the bonuses, etc..

Talk about everything they receive when they order and show them in the download page. You can even show them the order process and how it works. A lot of people online are still a bit scared to give their credit card numbers over the Internet. They do not want their credit card to get stolen by some hacker, and are also concerned with the people they are ordering from scamming them.

So if you show how easy and safe the order process is, this can surely helps sales by reassuring customers that they will not get scammed out of their money and that the product is safe to buy.

Step 4) Show them the chapters in the book while reading some of it. This is a big part, it shows the viewer that the product is real, shows how it is presented, and they get a quick taste of exactly what is inside.

You can go by each chapter to show them the headlines/titles of the product. This can produce big sales as it really taps into people's instant gratification trigger button.

You basically are saying "You can be reading this right now!"..

You should get permission from the owner of the product before you show the inside of their product to the public, but this shouldn't be a problem.
Just explain what you are doing and let them know that the viewers of the video would only be able to read a few pages in the video and that you aren't showing the whole entire book in the video.

Also, this works the same way if you are promoting a software program. Show how the programs works, the features, etc..

Step 5) Thank the viewer for watching the video and remind them that they can have this within minutes from now.

Also, if you have an affiliate program, you could give them a quick glance at that and tell them they could recoup their investment by just referring 2 friends. This is also very powerful as it makes the product seem even less risk.

Something else that I have used in a few videos is showing the guarantee of the product to make sure the visitor knows that if he is not happy with the product, he can get a full no questions asked refund.

I have also used these videos to build lists. You can say something like:

"Subscribe today and receive a video tour of XYZ product free!"

People subscribe and get the video of the product you are promoting sent to their email.

Something else I have been testing with great results is what I call an "Insiders view".

If you go to Google.com and search for a heavily promoted affiliate product you will see lots of people have set up web pages and use Google.com's Adwords program to advertise it.

They use ads that say things like:

"XYZ Product Reviews"
or
"Don't Buy XYZ Product Until You Read This"
etc..
They are using these ads to generate traffic to their page which then links to the actual product through their affiliate link so that they get credit for the sale.

This is a simple tactic that people have used for years.

What I have been testing is ads that start like:

"Get An Insider's View Of XYZ Product"

This ad links to my page which then has my video automatically start. The video is of course all about the product, shows it chapter by chapter, shows the download area and order process, etc..

This works well, and of course you can even get them to subscribe to your list first before they can get the "Insider's View" video.

Something else you can do with this video is to submit it to the video directories like Youtube.com and Google video.

Make sure to link back to your site in the description area to generate traffic back to your site.
This can be a quick and easy traffic generator. Search engines love video and if you do this idea you will have one to submit to the video web sites. It's quick and easy, give it a shot!

- Limited Bonuses

One more thing you will definitely want to mention in your video is if you have included any of your own bonuses if they order the affiliate product.

Something like "If you order XYZ report, I will throw in my own ABC report as a bonus, but only if your one of the next 50 orders" etc..

This of course will also add value to the product you are promoting and easily boost sales.

Generally the better the bonus, the more sales, but do not overshadow or devalue the main product you are promoting with your bonus.

What is your life priority?

I have been thinking about this question,
what drives people to go online looking for a business opportunity?
I guess for many it is the prospect of earning a lot of money, others may be happy to earn a reasonable income.
You may just want to supplement your present income to make life easier.
Perhaps you are simply trying to expand your current business.
Whichever it is they are all basically the same, we all need to earn an income to live in the modern world, you may be lookingto support yourself, your family or even to help others.
It is interesting how people view themselves as successful or not by how well off they are financially. Although online marketing has helped me to become more financially secure I value family and friends far above money. It is a very nice feeling though knowing that I am able to take time off when I feel like it and not having to get up and go to work for someone else on a Monday morning.
So what is it that motivates you or inspires you to work or consider working online? It would be interesting to hear the opinions of my followers on this subject, what are you looking for from online marketing? an easy route to wealth? security for family? support for someone close or charity?
Personally I take people at face value and don't judge on how others live, It is all part of the mix that makes us all individual and interesting. So long as you have the dream that you can succeed and the drive to keep trying, you will achieve your goals. I think having these character traits does separate people into those who do and those who never will.
So let me know what gets you out of bed in the morning?
what motivates you to keep going even when times are hard?

By the way I would love to hear more from you either now or in the future so please do look me up on Facebook or Myspace Gordon Bloomfield

What is SEO Anyway?

Both pay-per-click and SEO are targeted to get your website placed as close to the top of search engine results as possible. Marketing and SEO are different, yet very, very similar. SEO are considered as the main factors in enhancing the traffic of one's website. The concepts of good SEO are hardly a secret. The people who least understands issues with URL structure and SEO are the very people who create them: web developers, programmers, and software developers.

Many long-time SEO's are now looking at the big picture and working with usability analysts. Some SEO are scam artists. I find it interesting that so many newcomers are given the wrong impression that there is one almighty answer to doing well in search engines. SEO are specialized techniques used to optimize your web site, to be Search engine friendly and increase your chances of placing well in searches. But SEO can also be the most profitable methods of driving leads because any leads you receive from SEO are free leads.

There are a large number of companies that adopt a fast and unethical approach to SEO known as Black Hat SEO. They employ unethical techniques that are against search engine policies. The best results from SEO are rarely achieved overnight. Black hat SEO are the techniques used to fool the search engines in order to bring in more traffic to websites. Website owners who unknowingly utilize black hat techniques of SEO are more vulnerable to changes in search engine algorithms and faced being banned.

Most hardcover books on the subject of SEO are best viewed as a vehicle to help the beginner understand the process of search engine optimization. This is because the principles behind SEO are not easy. They are very informative and most webmasters are involved in SEO and using it. White hat and black hat SEO are two opposing views of how to do search engine optimization. In a nutshell, SEO are methods that aim to improve the position or rank of a website in the listings produced by search engines. The benefits of SEO are almost unlimited.

Watch out for SEO Tools and software that is outdated and totally useless. Always research before you buy any SEO software because the search engine Algorithms are constantly changing thereby improving their search technologies to provide the most relevant results for their users. SEO tools for Google, MSN and Yahoo are numerous. SEO tools for press release optimization were also launched by PRWeb at the end of June called SEO Wizard. Search engine optimization is not easy, but with the right SEO tools, your website promotion task just got a lot easier. Blogs are one of the best SEO tools around and some like WordPress are free. Google Sitemaps' are a powerful SEO tools which you can get free by visiting my website.

MSN has launched a suite of SEO tools to go with their Pay Per Click product Adcenter. There are many SEO tools available on the internet, some are better then others, and some are not. Header tags, proper Keyword density, proper text formatting fonts, start text key-phrase as whole phrases, alt image tag text, links pointing to your site and each page and your domain name itself are some things to pay attention too. Many specialized SEO tools can help you determine the popularity and the competitiveness of your possible keywords and can help improve your search engine ranking particularly in Google.

Writing fresh content for SEO plays a large role in keeping visitors on a web site. Let's talk unique web page content and SEO content strategy. Finding a good SEO content writer is easier than you think. Just run a Google search or checkout elance.com. What is good SEO Content? It is unique, quality information that your visitors can use and is helpful to them. RSS feeds are an invaluable tool in the SEO content toolbox. If you scrape SEO content and end up scraping a couple spam pages, you may get noticed even more because someone is investigating the other spam pages.

The primary factor that will determine whether your SEO content is "good enough" is the content provided by competing websites. You need unique content that nobody has in order for it to pass duplicate content filters. That's why it is important to get your content articles indexed before you submit them to the search engines. I think nowadays though search engine algorithms can trace back the content and see who published it first, so at least make sure you publish it to your website or blog before submitting it to article directories.

To strengthen the theme of your web site, you need keyword rich SEO content. SEO content writing tips content writer's main aim is to create a new written piece which is original, simple, informative and also to the point. Write specific targeted SEO content for the independent pages. Unique SEO content remains king. Showing your visitors you can really write unique, compelling content, your traffic will grow very fast. Earlier it was just content writing but now it is widely known as SEO content writing. However there are some strict rules enforced on SEO content. Once you have visitors, your SEO content should be converting them into customers. With effective SEO content on your website, half of your search engine rank optimization work is done.

Ethical search engine optimization is a must or you will get banned. It's not if, it's when. Search engine optimization was and still is fascinating to me. Search Engine Optimization is a crucial part in a websites success. The objective of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is to achieve high natural search engine placement for relevant keywords or keyword phrases. Hiring an ethical search engine optimization company to rank well in the natural results is essential to long term success.

Your white hat Search engine optimization (SEO) campaign will provide you with a long term increase in targeted traffic and qualified visitors to your Web Site. Visit my site often and add it to your favorites as I update you with the latest news and rumors in the search engine optimization industry everyday. The effects of bad search engine optimization are devastating and very depressing. Each website is unique in its own way and hence your (SEO) plans differ from website to website.

My site has some tips on how to perform search engine optimization (also know as SEO) on your website. I have a free, comprehensive guide to the practice of search engine optimization for those unfamiliar with the subject if you send me an email. There's a lot of hype out there about search engine optimization (SEO) services. Some are good and some are bad. Read through Google's terms of service as they have some information on their site about it.

Too often, visual design and SEO are perceived as a mutual sacrifice. Pay-per-click and SEO are targeted to get your website placed as close to the top of search engine results as possible. Pay-per-click cost money, but the clicks from SEO cost you nothing. SEO are considered as the main factors in enhancing the traffic of one's website. Both, PPC and SEO are important. The truth is, the most rewarding part of SEO are often the slowest to reward. PR and SEO are based mostly on editorial credibility and relevance, not a direct payment for exposure.

SEO are specialized techniques used to optimize your web site, to be Search engine friendly and increase your chances of placing well in searches. There are a large number of companies that adopt a fast and unethical approach to SEO known as Black Hat SEO. The main components of on-page SEO are optimization of the title tag, the headline tag, the body text and the Meta tags. Companies interested in SEO are occasionally not very happy with how their website looks. Programmers with an understanding of SEO are in high demand. As a matter of fact, sites with excellent Search Engine Optimization are making giant leaps in rankings and getting a major boost in free traffic with Google's new update.

Great web usability and SEO are wasted if folks who visit your web can't tell that you are worthy of their trust. Those who specialize in SEO are in the unique position of understanding the web in a way that no traditional marketing agency can hope to. White hat and black hat SEO are two opposing views of how to do search engine optimization so if you use one, choose with great care. The second most important aspect for high SEO is the headers. Use H1, H2, H3, H4 headers.

Many of the techniques that can be used for SEO are banned by the various search engines. The benefits of SEO are almost unlimited. Bad techniques of SEO are a strict 'NO' - Like same color text as the background and Doorway pages can get your website banned. The five forces of SEO are relevant Keywords, unique Content, clean Code, relevant Links and proper use of Technology. Designing for users and designing for SEO are not mutually exclusive goals. There will be compromise. White hat SEO are techniques that follow precisely the rules and guidelines provided by search engines stand a better chance of receiving traffic and higher rankings than black hat techniques.

For this reason it is important to try to stay updated as far as new SEO are concerned. The off-page elements of website promotion and SEO are just as important. The majority of issues with SEO is very basic and just takes time to be picked up on search engines. Web design and SEO are two very different disciplines, but a certain degree of collaboration is required. It's easy to see why effective SEO are now very much in demand. Black hat SEO is techniques used to trick or manipulate search engines for higher rankings.

If done properly, the results of your SEO efforts are very impressive. Those who practice what some refer to as "ethical" and "correct" SEO are called White Hat SEO's. The most important for SEO is to follow the rules and you won't have anything to worry about.

How Your Title Can Make or Break Your Email Marketing Campaign

Email marketing is one of the BEST tools that you can use to grow your business on eBay, Amazon and beyond. Sending out newsletters, sales and promotions to your customers is one of the best ways to sell more products more often.

However, there's an important KEY to successful email marketing that most people overlook, and that is...

The TITLE of Your Email
In fact the way you title your email is SO important, the success of your email marketing campaign depends on it.
Why an Email Title is Important
In your eBay listings your 55 character listing title is the "map" that helps searchers find your listings in eBay's search engines.
With email marketing, your title serves one primary purpose...To get your email OPENED!
Because an email that's not opened will never be read. And an email that's not opened will be the target of the delete key. Therefore it's key to write an email title that will get your email opened and read.
The payoff for you? A great email title and newsletter will bring you more customer sales!
Motivating People to Open Your Emails
Most sellers tend to send out emails with fairly generic email titles. For example:
eBay Seller Email: Save money! Shop my eBay Store for great deals
New in my store
eBay: Great deals!
Check this out!
Winter Clearance Sale
And while there's nothing inherently wrong with these email titles, there's also nothing engaging about them either. They are all fairly generic email subject titles.
You certainly can intermix generic titles into your email campaign, but use them as the exception not the rule.
You might think that writing an intriguing email title requires a lot of work. Not so!
With the knowledge you're about to gain in the next section (and a little help from a tried and true writers tool )you'll be writing effective emails titles in no time!

5 Strategies for Writing Titles that Get Your Emails Opened
Next we're going to look at 5 different strategies you can use to get those emails opened!
These 5 kinds of email titles will engage your reader and inspire them to OPEN your email!

1. Target your email title to your customers interests. The more specific the better. If you're sending an email in which you want to promote your vintage lace linens, rather than using a generic email title such as "Check Out Our New Linens" create a more specific title such as "Introducing Our One of a Kind Vintage Lace Linens"

Generic title: Check Out Our New Linens

Targeted title: Introducing Our One of a Kind Vintage Lace Linens

As you can see, the 2nd title targets a very specific audience and arouses curiosity about the new, unique linens you've just brought in stock. Which brings us to our second strategy...

2. Arouse Curiosity. People are naturally curious. And we like having our curiosity peaked! An email title that peaks your reader's curiosity is likely to get opened.
For example...

The owner of a pet products store could write an email newsletter with a title of...

"The Top 3 Things Every Poodle Owner Must Possess..."

A seller who wants to promote flat irons (for your hair) in their email marketing newsletter might write...

"How to Turn Your Unruly Hair into a Sleek and Shiny Mane"

By using an element of curiosity in your email title people will want to click on your emails and see what's inside!
Note: Do NOT make your curiosity emails SPAMMY or MISLEADING. Curiosity alone with no substance will turn people off. If you are going to use an element of curiosity in your title, make sure you follow through on your promise and deliver the "goods" within the email content.

If you are promoting "The Top 3 Things Every Poodle Owner Must Possess..." - your email must follow through and share those top 3 things with your customer.
Misleading email titles are even worse. "Loose 150 lbs in 30 days" is simply untrue and will cause your readers to immediately delete your email.

3. Use Urgency. No one wants to miss the big "it". That one thing they wished they'd known about. Email titles that convey urgency will ensure that your customers at least give your email a quick glance! (Once they're reading you can grab them with your copy!)

Your email title can contain an element of scarcity.
For example:
"It ends tonight at midnight!"
"Only 4 vases left."
"20% off for the next 24 hours."

As with curiosity emails, urgency emails must follow through. If you're promoting a sale that ends at midnight, it MUST end at midnight. Using a sense of urgency in your emails but not backing it up by doing what you say you're going to do will cause your customers not to trust you.
And that will kill all chances of your prospect ever reading an email (or buying from you) again.
But if you DO have limited quantities of a product or the sale IS ending in 24 hours - writing an email title with a sense of urgency is a great way to promote it!

Note: Fostering a relationship with your customers that is built on trust is the best thing you can do to build a successful business! As the old saying goes "You must walk the talk."

4. Tell a story. We all love stories. It's part of human nature. Creating an email title that is a lead-in to a story can be very intriguing to your buyers.
For example:

"I Found These Beautiful Crystal Vases for You in Maine"
"The History Behind Our Hand Crafted Wall Clocks"
"Why 9 Out of 10 Customers Prefer Our New Steamer"

Then in your email continue on with the story that you started. Emphasize the human connection. Your customers want to buy from a person, not from a nameless, faceless eBay store or website.

5. Have fun. A little fun and humor in your email title can go along way. Have fun! Be creative.
This past holiday season I received an email from an eBay seller with a title that read...

"A Sale So Hot Even Santa Stopped to Shop!"
I opened this email immediately!
The Writer's Insider Secret Ideas for Email Titles

Now you may be thinking... "This sounds like a GREAT idea but I don't have a creative writing bone in my body."
Well the good news is that a copywriting degree is not required to create a clever email title!
You see examples of good email titles are all around you. In fact, your next email title may be as close as the magazine on your desk!
Writers have an insider secret for coming up with good ideas for email titles, emails, advertising copy, articles etc....
It's called a "swipe file".
A swipe file is a collection of tested and proven ads, sales letters, headlines etc. You'll use your swipe file as a springboard to write your own email titles.
Now you won't be copying the headlines directly, but rather taking bits and pieces of titles and repurposing them for your own specific niche email!
For example, this title used on a recent People Magazine "The Real Reason People Gain Weight" can be re-purposed for your pet products store:
"The Real Reason Your Pet Gains Weight" (This could be used to sell pet exercise products.)
"The Real Reason Your Dog Keeps Shedding" (This could be used to sell dog deshedders.)
When you come across an email title or headline you like, simply make a note of it in your swipe file.

Note: In case you are worrying that this is plagiarism, it's not!
Keeping a swipe file is a common practice used by advertising writers, authors, anyone who creates copy.

It's perfectly legal to take an existing heading and target it to YOUR market. And while you can't use the email title "Got Milk?" you can repurpose it to "Got Game?" "Got Candy?" "Got the Latest Shirts for Spring?" etc.
To help you find samples for your swipe file, simply take a look at the headlines on the covers of magazines in the grocery stores, tabloids, and newspapers. Look at the emails other companies send YOU.
When you look at these headlines with a fresh "eye" you'll see that most headlines today are variations of existing headlines.

Newsletters in Your Niche
Signing up to receive emails in from other online retailers in your niche is a great way to get some creative ideas about how to market products in your category.

For example, if you sell in the Home and Garden niche, sign up to receive the free email newsletters from stores like Smith and Hawken, Plow and Hearth etc.
I guarantee you'll get some GREAT marketing ideas!

Starting an online business the basics.

Starting an online business the basics.

The first thing to do is to find the market you wish to sell to and then conduct a keyword search using google external keyword tool. This will give you an idea of how big the market is for your chosen niche.

The next step is to see how much competition already exists for that niche. It is highly unlikely that you will find a niche with no competition at all but you don’t want to be competing within a market that is already saturated.

Once you have chosen your niche you are going to need products to sell. There are several options here,
1. Produce your own.
2. Buy ready-made products to sell on.
3. Sell other peoples products (affiliate marketing)
4. Build a content only site and earn revenue from advertising

Now you will need to build your website or have it built for you. It is surprisingly easy these days to build your own site with programmes such as XsitePro who offer full support and video training.

While you are busy building your site you will need to start finding the customers to sell your products to. Using a simple capture page with some kind of offer included is a good way of building up a following of potential customers. This can be achieved quite easily by starting a blog page dedicated to your chosen niche, include an email sign up form using the services of Aweber or a similar auto responder supplier

There are of course other alternative fast track methods of starting your online business, you could purchase a system such as this Marketing Method, with this method you do not need to build a website at all and can start earning within a very short amount of time.

You may prefer to look for a complete package, there are many marketers offering these ready-made businesses. You can purchase the website, domain name, products, and everything else you need. If you have products of your own to sell and need a website or just want a ready-made business out of the box, I can help get you started.

How to optimise your blog for search engines

Search engine optimization, SEO, is not the black art many people think it is. Back in the early days of the World Wide Web, people tricked search engines by repeating the same keywords over and over again in the page, meta keywords and hid the long lists of keywords from the readers to improve their search engine rankings.

Happily, this doesn't work anymore. The search engines are improving their ranking methods and they are becoming smarter. But there are things we can do on our blogs to help the search engines find our sites and content better. This is what SEO is all about. With SEO, you are helping people to find exactly what they are looking for. When you're publishing something, you're putting it out for other people. And that blog post, video, article or audio will not help anyone unless they find it, right? If people search for the exact information you are providing, but don't find it, because you don't have the foundation in place, your content will lose much of its value.

Yes, there are ways to promote a blog and get people into your site than just the search. But think of it this way: wouldn't it be great if someone is looking for an answer to a question they have or a solution to an urgent problem they are facing, and when they search for that information, they would find exactly what they're looking for? I think so. The secret is to understand that search engine optimization is helping the search engines deliver your content in front of the people looking for that exact information. It is as simple as that. If you put a title on your post with words people type into a search when they want to find exactly what you give them in the text, you're doing it right.

If you want to ensure that there are people looking for the information you provide, you do keyword research. You are looking for keywords and keywords phrases people actually type in the search engine. You can do this with free keyword research tool from Google, for example. Think what you would type to a search if you would be looking for the information you wrote. When you include such keyword phrase in your post headline, you have done yourself, your blog, and the visitors who now can find the information more easily from the search engines, a favor.

Apart from writing valuable and unique content, you don't have to do much else, because it is done automatically in the background, taken that you have the blog SEO basics in order, most importantly a SEO friendly theme or template that displays the title of the page the right way. The title of the page, shows as the title tag in the HTML code, is what you see on the top of the browser window. If the page is not setup correctly, that title won't be the same as your blog post title for example.

When the title tag is taken care of by the blog settings, you just have to write content that will help people , articles that people want to read, and ensure you have titled your post properly. The title is important because it will tell people what your post is about. Because the title is the first thing people see and decide whether or not they should click on it and read the whole story, search engines value the title as well. And that's why it's important to put focus on it, to ensure the search engines find your content and index it the right way, and more importantly, for the people will then see information they're looking for.

There is more to blog SEO than just this, publishing great content with amazing titles , but if you don't do this, everything else will be for nothing. And you don't have to worry about putting a lot of the same keyword phrases in the post. That might even hurt you. You are writing and helping people, keep that in mind.

SEO should not be comprehended as something you do for a machine. It should be about helping the people who use the search . In fact, it should even be called search engine optimization, just optimization. With proper blog SEO, making sure your theme or template is optimized the right way, that is what you'll be doing; optimizing to help people find the answers they are looking for.

Internet Marketing Tips - There Are No Stupid Questions

This is actually a bit of a rant. I've noticed, over my years of marketing online, that many marketers get annoyed with other marketers when they ask supposedly stupid questions. Well, here's a news flash for you. There ARE no stupid questions. Just a lot of stupid answers. If you're interested in my opinion on this matter, regardless of which side of the fence you're on (questioner or one giving the answers) you might want to read this article.

Let me start off with the person asking the question. Assuming you're not just trying to be a wise guy (I get a lot of them) I am going to assume that you're asking your question because it is something you honestly don't know the answer to and want to get an answer to. If you're somebody just starting out, you might be a little intimidated by this. After all, you're seeking the advice of people who have been doing this a while and don't want to sound stupid. Well, let me set the record straight.

These so called "experts" were once new at this too. They didn't always have all the answers. There was a time when they probably asked the same questions. Problem is, a lot of marketers seem to have forgotten where they came from. Suddenly they're all high and mighty in their ivory towers and think that anybody who asks a question that should be "common knowledge" is either stupid or lazy or both. Hey folks, it's time to come down from those ivory towers. Point is, you new people...don't be afraid to ask questions. There are still those of us out here who haven't forgotten what it's like to be new.

Now, for you folks in those ivory towers. Yeah, I know, after years and years of doing this, it gets a little tiresome answering the same questions over and over. I get it. So here is what you do. If somebody asks a question and you just can't bring yourself to answer it because you've answered that same question 1,000 times before, just stay out of the conversation. Don't make the person asking the question feel like an idiot. It's totally unproductive and makes YOU look like a jerk. Blunt enough for you?

There are no stupid questions. Just a lot of stupid answers. Hopefully, if we use a little common sense, we can reduce the number of stupid answers given on any one day.

To YOUR Success,

Steven Wagenheim

Internet Marketing Success and the Importance of Quality

There are now thousands of eBooks, video and online courses all promising rapid online success to ordinary people like you and me. In this article we are going to look at why the majority of people fail to make any money simply because the fail to grasp a basic principle.

In the first instance I want us all to be really honest and admit that at one point or another we have been so inspired by what we have read or learned in an internet marketing course, so pumped up about the latest marketing method or gizmo that we have invested in, that we jump into a mode of fanatical almost frenzied activity only to be disappointed when we do not get the results promised and sadly the money does not come rolling in.

There are a number of reasons why people fail like this but in my experience there is one very common reason that is probably the greatest contribution to the failure on an internet marketing business.

What I am referring to can be summed in one word 'quality' or to be more accurate the lack of it.

Think about this for a moment in regards to your own internet empire. Do you rush sites and web pages out? Do you write poor quality content and articles simply because you are in a hurry or are focussed on quantity?

If your answer to either of the above is yes then I want to ask you to complete change the way you work. Make it quality an imperative of everything you produce. This may mean you produce less and what you do create will take longer. My own personal success has taught me that not only do the search engines (especially Google) reward quality but also and more importantly do my cash-in-hand customers.

Hope you enjoyed reading this article. Writing is a huge passion for me as a result I write about everything for example I have recently created content for a local site looking at Cheap microwave ovens and also a specialist ceramic tile finder

Finding More Than Just a Profitable Niche For Your Internet Marketing

Success in internet marketing depends greatly on choosing the right niche market. if you find a niche that is not profitable, you will not get any returns from it. A profitable niche is constituted by people who are ready to buy what you offer and the fact that there are people who want your products or services.

Almost all internet marketers want niches that have great demand and minimal or no competition. However, these two factors are not the sole parameters for choosing a niche. Given below are some guidelines to find a good niche market for your internet business.

Profitability

It implies that the niche must have a lot of people who are willing to spend money for the products or services you offer. It is also important to make sure that the niche you have selected does not have much competition; otherwise, it will be difficult to make a profit from it. However, total absence of competition may take away the opportunity for healthy race. Do a keyword research and match the most profitable keywords to the most selling products. This will help you in finding the most profitable niche for you.

Interesting

You must have real interest in a subject to build a website that caters to that specific field. Only then you will be able to continue with your marketing efforts and stay motivated till you see success. If you are choosing a niche merely on the basis of profit, and not because you have a genuine interest, you will soon face competition from someone who has actual interest and you will be thrown off your position. In order to avoid this, you must make a list of things you love and markets that you are interested in and build your business on one that has all the qualities of profitability and interest.

Measurability and Long Life

The lifetime of a niche is a very important factor that decides your business success. Niches that have a short lifespan cannot bring you profits for long term. They may score well for their life time, but after that will begin to die. Hence, you must look for niches that will last long. Also ensure that your niche can grow further. You may be able to find related products and sell it to your niche and thus expand your business.

Finding the right niche that can bring profits and has the potential to grow for long lasting success requires real effort from the part of the marketer. It also requires considerable experience in researching key words and matching it with profitable niches. It is here that Internet marketing training courses help you in identifying the most suitable niche for you. For Wannabe eBook Authors - 5 Key Questions

Are YOU ready for the eBook authoring adventure? Do you have what it takes to author an eBook? Is there an eBook author inside of you? Are you not sure whether or not you have what it takes to write that book that's been living inside of you for years? Are you reluctant to start writing your eBook, fearing that you won't complete it?

Let's examine your attitudes, skills and knowledge that you bring to the eBook authoring process. Let's look at some key questions you can ask yourself to see if your "readiness" for embarking on this authoring adventure is obvious.

The following questions are not meant to cover everything you should know about yourself before beginning the authoring process but they will give you a good idea where you stand. You may be surprised at some of the criteria mentioned.

This is not your conventional assessment of what it takes to author an eBook. Criteria like knowledge of the subject area, experience with the problems addressed in the eBook, familiarity with members of the target market for your eBook, and previous work done on your eBook topic are assumed.

This is a reflective look at what you should and could bring to the eBook authoring process. It's the non-conventional criteria that will be addressed here.

Remember that we are talking about eBooks not pBooks (standard published books) and therefore the attitudes, skills and knowledge you require are different. eBooks are a marriage of creative writing (for non-fiction primarily) and eBook technology. Your eBook is designed to be viewed on a computer monitor. Your eBook is very much like a living web page. You have at your disposal for use in your eBook the wonders of internet, web and eBook technology. Writing is but one part of the eBook authoring process.

Every step of the eBook authoring process is affected by the fact that eBooks are inventions of technology, software programs, creative writing and the World Wide Web among other aspects.

Consider: The Ten Steps of eBook Authoring -

I Idea

II Reflection

III Commitment

IV Big Picture

V Chunking

VI Writing

VII Editing

VIII Publishing

IX Marketing

X Celebrating

There is not one step in this process that will not require a different way of thinking compared to the conventional ideas of writing a book. That's not to say that there is no carry-over from pBook to eBook. There is much in common but it is also necessary to approach the writing of an eBook with a much different audience in mind that the one who would normally purchase your book at a book store.

As an example, the fact that your customer will not be able to physically touch your eBook before purchasing it means that your "Big Picture" idea of a jacket for your pBook now becomes a look at an eBook cover graphic digitally reproduced but no less appealing than your standard pBook cover. In fact, cover design for eBooks is sometimes even more important than for a standard book.

Another example is the technological expertise of your target market. eBooks don't require any special skills to use them properly but it does require that your target market have access to a computer, know how to download information from the internet, and regularly seek answers to their questions from the web.

All of these issues and plenty more make the eBook an interesting, exciting, worthwhile, and rewarding venture into authoring. Add to this list the fact that your expertise level will be enhanced in the same way a standard published authors' would be but at a much reduced cost. You have complete control your eBook all the time. You make much more money selling eBooks than standard book unless you are already a well-known author. You can become a published author quickly and inexpensively while maintaining control of all aspects of the eBook authoring process. You can share your expertise with a world-wide audience 24/7.

Leave a written legacy of your knowledge and expertise. Author an eBook.

6 Key Questions

Question #1

Do YOU relish the opportunity to share your expertise, knowledge, and skills?

The excitement generated when someone downloads your free eBook or purchases your "expertise" makes your work well worth the effort. eBooks provide an opportunity, at a very reasonable cost, to target a world-wide market of people sharing your interests.

The Internet is the number one source of instant information. Your eBook should be written to address the needs and problems of your target market. Your objective in writing your eBook is to share what you have learned with others. You will be seen as an expert. Your job is to help people solve problems by sorting through the glut of information available to your readers and get right to the heart of the problem.

Readers want instant solutions to problems. They want the delivery of the eBook answers immediately without leaving the office or home. Readers appreciate the time you have taken to help them solve their problem. Making contacts with "like minds" is a bonus, especially for the author.

Do you have something about which you are passionate? About which you have experience? About which you have gained insights and knowledge that would be of value to others? About which your wisdom would best be shared before it is lost forever?

So the very first question you have to answer is do you have an interest or area of expertise that you are anxious to share with others. Your passion for the subject will carry you throughout the entire eBook authoring process.

Are you interested in sharing your knowledge, skills, attitudes, and passions with the world?

Question #2

Are YOU willing to continue along the road of life-long learning? Are you willing to improve your computer literacy, word processing skills, and Internet savvy?

Regardless of where you currently stand in terms of your knowledge, skills, and attitudes regarding computer and Internet technology, you will have plenty of opportunities to improve in these areas. The option is always yours to learn what you need to know yourself or turn the step over to someone who does. A big part of the adventure is learning how to enhance the message in your eBook through the best techniques available to you. The Internet is all about information. Information sells if packaged well. Information sells when the purchaser sees the benefits of the purchase to enhance his/her life, solve problems or prevent mistakes.

By simply learning more about your word processing software you will have taken a big step! Purchase a good instruction manual that has plenty of pictures, is bright in color and uses the actual images you will see on your computer monitor to help you learn how to do things. The average person using word processing software has only a superficial knowledge of what the software can do. Now you have the opportunity to use this new-found knowledge in the best of all places - your eBook.

eBook technology, properly used, enhances your enjoyment in presenting the material and your audience's reading enjoyment as well. Consider for example that every single web page in the entire universe can readily be placed into your eBook for easy reference. There is no need to reproduce tons of material when a link from your eBook to a web site will do the same thing. Not only that, but the reader doesn't have to wade through material they already know. They can choose to follow the link or not. Another marvelous use of eBook technology is that the reader who leaves your eBook to visit a web page can just as easily come back to your eBook.

Color is another example of eBook technology at its best. You have the entire palette to use in your eBook. Your eBook comes alive with color. There are no limitations unlike the standard pBook where adding color means added costs and added costs mean higher prices and higher prices mean fewer sales. You get the picture.

Considering this question about your personal learning curve, look at your decision to author an eBook as an opportunity to embark on a tremendous learning experience. You take on the role of both teacher (eBook author) and learner (eBook author) with one experience.

Do the "learning" possibilities excite you? You will learn as much about yourself as you will about eBook technology and computers if you have the courage to take up the eBook authoring challenge.

Are you a life-long learner?

Question #3

Are YOU willing to do the research required for your eBook?

It is very probable you already have a fair amount of information readily available for the content of your eBook. This can come in the form of personal experience, articles written by you, web site resources, books and videos on the subject, workshop materials you have presented, and seminars or training sessions you have done.

Research skills will be necessary to make your work accurate, relevant and up-to-date. One of the most amazing aspects of eBook technology is the fact that you continuously update the information in your eBook with relative ease. It won't require producing an entirely new product and tossing out the old books. All that's required is an electronic update of your current eBook. And it costs little or nothing to produce your new eBook. In fact it costs so little you could even afford to give all previous purchasers a copy of the revised eBook for free! There are virtually no distribution charges.

This "up-to-the-minute" research is a two-edged sword. As the author charged with providing your readers with accurate information using the Internet and sorting through that information to find what is truly relevant, you also have the obligation to keep your eBook updated. It's not a problem as an eBook. Your reputation will be enhanced among your readers. Their trust in you will make up-selling other products and services so much easier. You're credible and incredible!

Research isn't just about providing your target market with valuable information. You must also be prepared to do your market research as well. You must be willing to spend time "where your target market hangs out". This means getting to know the right people, the right places, and the right things that will help sell your eBook. In most situations, eBook authors are also active members of organizations, subscribers to magazines and periodicals, attendees at conferences and workshops that your target market is likely to frequent. You are a member of "the group". This is called marketing research for sales and distribution of your eBook.

Of course, there are the technical aspects of the entire process that will also require some attention on your part such as ePublishing. Publishing in the traditional sense is usually done after a contract is signed and the publisher takes over the entire process. No so with eBooks. You are the one! Don't worry. It's not that difficult. Remember, like any other aspect of the eBook authoring process, you can always hire someone else to do it!!! ePublishing or compiling is the term used to convert your book created using word processing software into a format that becomes an electronic book (eBook) so your reader can make best use of it. There are many formats to choose from. Adobe Acrobat - Portable Document Format (PDF) works with all platforms. Like all of the eBook formats available to you, Adobe provides a free Reader so your eBook can be used.

Research in its various forms should be considered part of the dues you must pay to successfully author an eBook. One aspect of eBooks that most appeals to authors and readers is that the writing style is informal and the annotations and formal references used in University papers isn't required. In fact, your readers will welcome that fact that you can talk to them person to person in your eBook and they will get the message. The research component in this question is more behind the scenes but it's an important consideration when embarking on writing an eBook.

Is research a dirty word for you or does it excite you?

Question #4

Do you see yourself as a team player?

Success in anything is seldom accomplished without the help of others. One of the most important methods of leverage is working cooperatively with others to accomplish a particular goal. It makes success quicker and easier. It's all about synergy--the concept that one plus one does not equal two but eleven! Working together with your team you can accomplish more and do it faster than trying to do everything yourself.

In eBook authoring there are many opportunities to work with others. In fact, it would be safe to say that it is impossible that anyone could do it alone. Consider these aspects of eBook authoring that may require the assistance of others.

Mentors can make a tremendous difference to your personal success as an author. Mentors can provide the emotional support you require to keep you on task and encourage you to reach your goal. Mentors can help with specific skills that you may be lacking like learning how to more effectively use your word processing software. Mentors can be experienced writers with whom you can share ideas and experiences. Mentors can be 'experts' in your topic that provide you with insights you might otherwise have not thought about. And mentors can also be your proof-readers and editors when your draft copy requires 'outside' approval and scrutiny.

Technical members of your team may be required to help you design and operate a web site in order to sell your eBook. Technical expertise is often required to compile or ePublish your book from the word processing software to eBook format. Graphic experts can help you design your eBook cover along with other graphics used on your web site or for promotional purposes. Banners on sites and logos for your eBook sales and ad copy many also require outside assistance.

And don't forget those people who form your inner circle of friends, relatives and immediate family. Without the support and encouragement of these people your eBook authoring experience will become more work than adventure.

The last step of The 10 Steps to eBook Authoring is Celebrate. It's no accident that this step is included. The celebration is a team celebration. Without a team, you will not succeed. If you are not a team player, you will find the authoring experience a difficult, in not impossible one.

Are you a team player?

Question #5

Is the entrepreneurial spirit alive in YOU?

Whether or not you have previous entrepreneurial experience you will be able to see how the self-employed and small business operators make money. As an author you will become a small business. Your active involvement in all aspects of the process is essential even though you may not be doing some things like compiling your finished eBook. Learning the business of writing, publishing, and marketing your eBook is fascinating.

It doesn't matter whether you plan to give away your eBook as a bonus for purchasing other products or services or use it to advertise your expertise or sell your eBook as a product, your entrepreneurial skills will need to be addressed. Once more, your attitudes, skills and knowledge will be tested. The learning curve will appear once more. You will become a self-employed author operating a small business just like thousands of other small business owners. Be prepared for this unique adventure. It's exciting.

Time is your biggest investment in the authoring process. Some money will need to be spent to publish and market your eBook. eBooks can be written, published, marketed and sold for an investment of a few hundred dollars at most. Recouping your expense will be much easier than any other form of publishing - self-publishing, standard publishing through a company contract, or print on demand. Should you choose to sell your eBook you will generate life-long income in the order of 40- 95% of the selling price of each book depending on the methods you choose to reach your customer. In addition, your eBook authoring, related speaking engagements, and workshops qualifies you for tax benefits as a self-employed person. An option always remains open to you to publish your eBook in standard paperback or hard cover format.

eBooks are the "doors of opportunity" for anyone wishing to enhance their current careers, establish themselves as an expert in their field, or begin a new career. Published eBooks put the author in a unique position to build a business around this one eBook or other eBooks related to the first one. Business opportunities are generated by your status as a published author. You will have the opportunity to conduct workshops, host teleseminars, produce other products, provide additional services like consulting or coaching, facilitate training sessions, do keynote addresses and of course write other eBooks. Your eBook can become the center of your new entrepreneurial universe.

Does the entrepreneurial spirit in you lead you to eBook authoring?

There they are! Five questions worth your reflective consideration. Five questions that will help you decide whether you have what it takes to author an eBook.

The decision is yours. Let the journey begin! It all starts with an Idea!

Better search engine ranking

Another way of getting the word out there is to start your own blog, again post lots of information and articles related to your business. Blogger.com or Wordpress are probably the most popular blog providers. It is best if you can write your own content or get someone to write for you, but as an alternative you can use articles from article sites.

Increase Web Traffic Instantly - Ultimate Web Site Traffic Guide

Congratulations! You have found the ultimate web traffic guide. This guide will teach you the web traffic secret - well, web site traffic secrets, actually, seeing as this article covers several affordable yet particularly effective web traffic strategies - that you can use to increase web traffic to your web site. By following the tips stated herein, you can increase web traffic on your web site instantly; you'll soon have to acquire more bandwidth from your web host for you'll have massive web traffic to deal with.

The Web Traffic Secrets

Internal Optimization: Write and post content in your site that is optimized for the keywords under which you'd like your site to be indexed by the search engines. In other words, if you want your site to appear for search engine queries involving "diamonds," then you have to optimize your site content for this keyword and related keywords (e.g. blue diamond, diamond ring, diamond jewelry, etc).

Search Engine Submission: Most internet users look for web sites through search engines. It is therefore crucial that your site be listed in search engines' databases. You must submit your URL to search engines, especially the major ones like Google, Yahoo! and AOL. This and your efforts at internal optimization will mean a huge difference to your web traffic.

Link Building: Having links pointing back to your web site counts in your favor when it comes to search engines' ranking rules. Beyond that, however, links also build paths that your target customers can follow to get to your web site.

There are many ways of building links to your web site. First of all, you have to do directory submission; that is to say, you have to submit your site to online directories. DMOZ or the Open Directory Project should be on top of your list - it is free and it is well known - but you must not also neglect paid directories that have a lot of users.

Article submission is another way of creating great backlinks to your site. You must write articles (press release articles, among them) and submit them to as many article directories as you can. Article directories with a high page rank will move your articles on the top 10 of relevant search results. Since your articles in article directories contain a link back to your site, then you can expect such articles to bring web traffic to your site.

Finally, you must use social bookmarking sites to promote your web site and increase web traffic. Join StumbleUpon and share your web content there. You must also place a little StumbleUpon widget on your site so your visitors can easily share your content to other users.

Result: Massive Web Traffic

If you do everything suggested by this web traffic guide (or if you're wise and you hire other people to do them for you), your web traffic can't help but increase. You just wait and, soon, you'll have massive web traffic on your web pages.

Are you looking to instantly and effectively increase your web site traffic?

Then you should try Search Marketing Sales Ltd, a certified SEO firm based in Australia. They offer low-cost Website Promotion packages for a complete link building campaign. You should also take a look at their Link Building Secret E-Book, which will help not only to increase your web traffic but explode your inbound links by a massive 100,000 and more in just one month.

Multiple Streams of Internet Income

Multiple Streams of Internet Income - Something Every Beginner Internet Marketer Needs to Know

So, we have upline leaders and guru's on one side of the marketing fence who tout... lead with your primary business like it's going out of style. Yeah, right! Your chances of success riding on only one source of make believe income is next to nil. What's even worse than that is the fact that most prospects aren't buying into it; that sucks!

Well, that explains perfectly the horrendous failure rate in this industry. Which has also lead many marketers to pack up their bags and call it a day. However, the good news is you won't have to deal with that. Since you'll soon discover two strategies the upline leaders and guru's practice on the RIGHT side of the fence to generate multiple streams of internet income. They are...market "how to" products and leveraging.

Market How to Products

I'm sure you've heard of the old saying, "don't put all of your eggs in one basket." I believe the financial services industry coined that phrase. Well, it applies to your industry too! So, here's what you do, find an attraction marketing sales funnel system that markets several "how to" products as an affiliate...follow me?

You then implement this strategy on the front end and you'll have prospects fall in your lap buying your primary product on the back end. How is that possible? It's possible because you must FIRST get your prospects to know, like, and trust you (rapport building 101) so that they'll buy your reasonably priced how to products and, most importantly, learn how to generate positive cash flow so that they can stay in the game and fund their advertising!

So, in essence, you're building trust and credibility with them by doing this on the front end, as they're getting results from your expertise, then they'll NATURALLY ask you, at the right moment, um! what else do you do? BAM! Then you effortlessly lead in with your primary and on down the line like dominos. It gets even better, if an affiliate program goes under, who cares! You'll have several multiple streams of internet income to draw from. What a nice problem to have!

Leverage

Now that you're starting to grasp how business is conducted on the internet in the twenty first century, by the few, let's explore the power of leverage. You must understand that leveraging oneself in business, or anything else for that matter, is what all of the great minds from the past and present eat, sleep, and breath and can attribute to their success. It's a key foundational principle of life.

Just think about your attraction marketing sales funnel system, that's a form of leverage right there. All of the components that it took to assemble your "well oiled machine" came from great minds that knew all too well the incredible power of leveraging. I know, we can all take things for granted sometimes.

Never the less, your system that you're plugged into is just the tip of the iceberg. As you move up the ranks, and start to generate more leads than you have time to follow up with, then you'll learn quickly how to leverage your time, money, and resources in order to outsource the gifts and talents of others to compensate for your weaknesses; and that, my friend, is when your multiple streams of internet income should be excelling on autopilot.

Well, I hope you're beginning to see how powerful these two strategies can be for you. Why settle for crossing your fingers HOPING that a prospect will buy into your primary program, when you can leverage multiple streams of how to products, that will help to serve your prospects, while stacking the odds in your favor? It's a no brainer!

Confused about how to make multiple streams of internet income? I will help! Set up your "well oiled machine" for less than $1.00 a day. Real answers are waiting for you at Multiple Streams Revealed.
