Want to work from home and be your own boss?
Looking for online money making opportunities?
Here are a few tips to get you on the right track towards achieving your goals and building
your own online business.
Customers.
We all know that our customers are the most important part of any business, without
customers our businesses simply would not exist, yet so many businesses neglect or ignore their
customers.
If you do this you are doomed to failure your customers are the life blood of your business and
they need to be nurtured.
How do we find our customers and how do we hang on to them?
You have probably filled out a simple form before online with your name and email address.
This is first contact between business and customer, you as a potential customer give me your
contact information. I as the business provide you with the incentive to do so through offering
you a free training course or similar.
You can also find customers by making regular submissions to article sites and through
online social sites such as Facebook and Twitter.
The next step is providing the customer with your products and services. This is best done with regular
contact through e-mail with clear links to your web-site. Offer free or discount price products to existing
customers or simply send them a free product now and then in the form of an e-book or similar.
You may want to offer some free training or backup and make sure you include contact information clearly
on your web-site and in all direct communication so the customer can contact you if they need to.
It is important to keep in regular contact with your customers to keep them loyal but you should also
avoid sending unwanted mail by offering an unsubscribe option.
What is a Joint Venture?
Joint Ventures are often used by online marketers and they are quite simply when you work with
someone else or another business.
For example you may have some great ideas for products but you need help with marketing them,
Joining forces with an individual or company that have the marketing experience would be of great
benefit to both of you.
Experienced online marketers will have a list of potential customers to sell products to, so by working together
with a pre-agreed profit split you bring the idea and the established marketer brings the sales expertise and
potential customers. Later on when you have established a good customer base you can be the one selling
others ideas.
There are many ways that you can joint venture from simple advert swapping and reciprocal web-site links
through to full on sales campaigns or business cooperation. Affiliate programmes are probably the most widely
used type of JV among online marketers. This is were an individual or company supply the product and often
the advertising for the product and you simply place a link to their sales website through your own site or marketing
material. When a customer purchases the product you earn a commission on the sale.
Wishing you every success now and in the future.
